While reading the book, she talked about flatulence, why everybody does it and the best ways to hide it.
In a lengthy caption beside the fun clip, Moore explained that she became a fan of the company as she is a 'huge advocate of gut health.'
She said became an investor after she tried out their antacids, something her daughter Rumer, 35, used frequently throughout her pregnancy.
She tagged her daughters she shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis — adding that Rumer, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, were her 'hot girls with stomach issues.'
Moore also tagged Kelly Ripa, Kate Hudson and Chelsea Handler at the end of her caption to challenge them to do a reading of the book as well.
'Farting… we all do it! So let's talk about it,' she wrote in her caption as she invited everyone to join her in 'letting it rip.'
As for how she got involved with the company and why she adores the latest mission so much, she explained: 'Not only does Wonderbelly make amazing digestive medicine, they do important work raising awareness around eating disorders and de-stigmatizing bodily functions.'

The Emmy-winning actress recalled her daughter Rumer, 35, used antacids throughout her pregnancy.
'When I introduced her to Wonderbelly, she loved its effective, flavorful and clean ingredients,' Moore told the outlet.'Unlike traditional medicine brands, Wonderbelly offers clean medicine and raises awareness about issues like eating disorders and common bodily functions.'
She also stressed the importance of embracing what many often find embarrassing.
'Digestive health is an important yet often taboo topic,' she said. 'As babies, we're celebrated for bodily functions like pooping and farting, but as adults we often hide these normal processes.'
For that reason, she said she worked with Wonderbelly and their conversations inspired the educational book about farts.
She said the book is not only an educational resource but is also a fun way to '[accept] these functions [are] better for our physical well-being.'

'We have this big mission around de-stigmatizing issues like eating disorders all the way to farting,' he continued. 'There are things that we should be a little bit more comfortable talking about.'
Moore added: 'While the book is funny and light-hearted, it has a message about self-acceptance.
'It's a read about farts that aims to make readers smile, feel more informed and be less embarrassed about their bodies.'
