After a brief pause, I'm back to dive into a topic that's reshaping how we think about customer engagement: the evolving Customer Experience (CX). As we harness AI technologies, we're faced with crucial questions: Are we interacting with humans or bots? Is the AI sophisticated enough to deliver a truly unique experience, or should it remain a behind-the-scenes tool until further developed? From my perspective, reverting to the basics of customer interaction is vital. It helps us grasp the current reality—how customer expectations match up to their experiences, especially in these challenging economic times. Are we, perhaps hastily, turning to AI as a cost-cutting solution, potentially at the expense of customer satisfaction? While some advocate for AI's frontline readiness, others suggest a more measured approach, allowing AI to learn in the background before taking centre stage. What does your customer really prefer? The Pitstone Community Car Scheme is a beacon of support, offering door-to-door transportation for those unable to access medical appointments through public transport. This initiative not only alleviates the stress and discomfort associated with travel but also provides a sense of companionship and security to our elderly community members. 🚗💖Research by Age UK has highlighted that a significant number of older adults experience heightened stress due to transportation challenges to medical appointments. Responding to this need, the scheme underscores the importance of community-led support systems.
