I loved how fun this book was! Even though there are plenty of serious moments throughout it, I really loved the overall fun filled tone of it. There were so many hilarious moments that the characters were all involved in, as well as some really sweet and also some slightly cheesy ones... but hey, it’s a romance so there’s gotta be a bit of cheesiness right? 😉
This is the last book of the series and I would definitely recommend reading the previous books first since you will have a better overall picture of Violet’s personality as well as some of the other characters mentioned in this story. I really liked how the author brought the story all together. I’ve been looking forward to this book for a while but I had no idea what it was going to be like. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series and can happily recommend it to anyone who enjoys clean and wholesome romance with a side of lighthearted shenanigans and hijinks oftentimes involving goats and roosters and of course a good dose of some swoon worthy kisses 😉
I received an ARC from the author, however this in no way influenced has my opinion and I am under no obligation to leave a review.

Long awaited story!

I have been waiting for Violet’s story. Boy, oh boy, though what we were given was so much more than expected!

Leon and Violet dated, fell in love and got engaged before he enlisted into the Marines. For two years they shared emails, and handwritten letters full of hopes, dreams and promises. Then Leon gets a hairy assignment and sends Violet a letter breaking up with her.

Violet is naturally devastated and is done with love.

Fast forward seven years and Leon is back and wants to make Violet his wife.

The book is full of fun shenanigans. Lots of tears, sweet moments, and butterfly inducing kisses. Oh and a couple Easter eggs too.

Definitely recommend this, but would suggest reading the series in order as many characters are referenced from other books.

Violet, Sagebrush Ranch hand and the only daughter, she met and knew Leon and while in college their romance took off. After Leon’s graduation he was going into the military with Violet’s approval. It would give her time to finish her nursing degree and both of them time to mature. So he left with promises from them on both sides to wait. Then came the letter from Leon, a very business like discreet, and very short, breaking off their relationship. No real explanation. No real reason. Just a goodbye with best wishes..... over 7 some years later.... Now Leon has returned and wants to make amends. .. truly a wonderful and delightful story ... the pranks played, the love reaffirmed ... and I so hope we get at least 2 more books with Ryder and Everly ... and the HEA for Levi and Jazlyn... wonderful series ...

A heart-wrenching sweet romance read

Violet, Sagebrush Ranch hand and the only daughter, met Leon, former military man and I.T. specialist, when they were in college and he broke her heart. As the story progresses a sudden reappearance throws her for a loop, a long plan is launched, and letting go of the past is not as simple as it sounds. Laura Ann’s Her Second Chance Cowboy is a heart-wrenching sweet romance read. This book does feature some of the characters from her Lockwood Industries series for your reading pleasure.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Does he deserve a second chance?

Ok...here’s what I liked. Leon and Violet met in college and after a semester, both were all in and made plans to marry after his stint in the military. For a while, he’s in the military and she’s in nursing school until he drops her with an abrupt dear Jane letter. I liked that both didn’t move on so seven years later, he’s out of the military and she just gave up on nursing and works on the ranch. But it’s kind of sad, so Leon is finally manning for a second chance.

I liked that Violet made him work for it.
I liked that both didn’t move on.
Does Leon deserve a second chance?
Recommend.

Borrowed on KU.

Love it.

I waited in anticipation of Violet’s story and was not disappointed. This was a great ending to the series, and we got a glimpse of previous characters as the story progressed.
What happens when doing what you think is the right thing breaks the heart of the woman you love? Leon will soon find out if Violet will give him a second chance.
Violet isn’t sure she has it in her heart to forgive. Can she let go of the past for a second chance at love?
Grab this book and find out. It’s a great read.

Forgive and move forward

Violet is a better woman than I. To forgive Leon after breaking up with her so harshly, to still care after so much time away without a word from him. Yep I would have tracked him down just to give him a piece of my mind. Well Violet just became a shell of herself instead. I appreciated in her transformation that we get to see her recognize what parts of her she lost and how she was able to find herself again. I loved the tug of war games!
Rating: G, Clean, fun farm pranks

What makes a man turn his beloved girlfriend loose when he goes on a dangerous military mission? Wrong thinking!
And a flawed hero. The result is Violet's broken heart. They still love each other & Leon is determined to win her back but she is determined to make him work very hard to achieve that goal. I'm glad to learn how this series wraps up. Very good job, Ms. Ann. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary opinion.

It was nice to finally be able to get to know Violet and Leon’s story. I met Leon in his sister’s story that is in another series about body guards. I thought Noah and Levi’s were a bit too harsh. I loved Leon’s persistence.

A good clean second chance romance. Leon broke Violet's heart when he had to go on a dangerous mission, now he's back to win her heart again.
I really enjoyed this story and series. I would recommend it.

A good second chance story of forgiveness

Laura Ann has brought us a fun filled story of love and forgiveness. Both Violet and Leon had to come to terms with difficult decisions made in the past in order to move forward in their lives. Really enjoyed reading this book.

Leon is determined to do whatever it takes to win back Violet. I have been looking forward to her book since the beginning. Can you win back the heart of the one you have broken? Their is angst but this time is comes from an unlikely source - sometimes funny and sometimes not. Loved how they were able to see each other's side of the story. A really romantic ending to their story as well as to the series,

Can a bad choice made with the best intentions be forgiven? A great book.
Violet met Leon in college and their romance took off. After Leon’s graduation he was going into the military with Violet’s approval. It would give her time to finish her nursing degree and both of them time to mature. So he left with promises on both sides to wait. Then came the letter from Leon, very businesslike, very short, breaking off their relationship. No explanation. No reason. Just goodbye. Now Leon has returned and wants to make amends. But Violet’s big brother and the other ranch hands have other ideas about what should happen. Violet needs to sort her life out for herself. Is the possible pain worth the risk? What does she want, not Leon, and certainly not her brother and ranch hands but herself. What does she want and what is she willing to risk for it? This is part of a series of books but can easily be read as a standalone. I can recommend the other books in the series. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.
