This is one of the very best beaches in northern Europe, In summer it is impossible to walk here, great beach, perfect

Wenige Toiletten in der Nähe vorhanden.(Translated by Google)Very relaxing and beautiful beach.Restaurants are scattered along the beach, with something for everyone and reasonable prices.Car parking at the harbor recommended €24 for 24 hours.Cold showers available directly on the beach, unfortunately there are no shower rooms where you can wash off properly with shampoo or change clothes. There are few toilets nearby.

An der Promenade zahlt man von 1 € aufwärts!(Translated by Google)Arrival on Thursday 10 a.m., the parking lot was almost empty, definitely recommended during the week. Things looked different on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. Almost all seats were occupied and by 8 a.m. everything was already closed. A parking garage is currently being built right next door, which should soon ease the weekend situation and reassure the guests of the Inntel Marina Beach Hotel, as it does not provide its own parking spaces. The price of €25.75 per day by credit card is usual for Scheveningen, if you have enough money you can also park in the city center for €50 per day ;-), the city keeps the parking spaces free for residents, which is what I like can definitely understand. If you want to park for several days, you have to buy a new ticket every day by 10 a.m. This is done via license plate recognition, which means you don't have to put a parking ticket in your car. The only disadvantage of this parking lot is that after 3 days of not being used, my car was so covered in sand that I will have to spend months getting the sand out of the vehicle and the ventilation. Despite rinsing the windows before driving off, I still have a scratch in the windshield from a grain of sand on the windshield wiper. Very annoying, but of course the operator of the parking lot can't do anything about it and even though I will soon prefer parking garages, a full 5 stars because my car was safely guarded there and was completely uncomplicated.A little tip for day trippers and after a long journey... the light blue house is a toilet. The price of €0.50 is unbeatable! On the promenade you pay from €1 upwards!

We gathered reviews from Google and Tripadvisor, and summarized helpful tips as well as commonly mentioned things others might find useful.

  1. Avoid parking directly by the water to prevent sand accumulation and potential scratches on your car from wind-blown sand.
  2. Consider arriving during weekdays or mornings/evenings when free spaces are more likely available compared to busy times like Saturday mornings.
  3. For longer stays, renew your parking ticket daily before 10 a.m., as it's checked regularly via license plate recognition without issuing physical tickets.
  4. Use apps like EasyPark for payment if traditional methods are not available or clear.

Reviews

Parkeerterrein Noordelijk Havenhoofd Strand in Scheveningen offers a very relaxing and beautiful beach experience with scattered restaurants offering something for everyone at reasonable prices. The car parking at the harbor is recommended, although there are no shower rooms available on the beach. Visitors should be mindful of sand accumulation due to strong winds and potential scratches on cars. Despite some cleanliness issues, the location is praised for its proximity to the sea and nearby amenities like toilets, snack bars, and kiosks.

Von hier aus geht man etwa 15 Minuten zu fuss am Strand entlang Richtung Riesenrad.(Translated by Google)Large parking lot right by the sea. Please note that your cars will quickly be full of sand due to the strong wind. Scratches are inevitable, so it's best not to park directly on the side of the water. At the moment (July 2023) you pay €25.75 for 24 hours with an EC card. You have to enter your license plate number at the machine and can choose whether to park for a short time for 10 hours or for a long time for 24 hours. Before the time expires, you should renew it daily because it is checked regularly. A parking ticket doesn't come out. The check is carried out using a license plate. It is one of the cheapest parking spaces in the entire area. From here it's about a 15-minute walk along the beach towards the Ferris wheel.
