Strategy[]
Phase 1[]
In Phase 1, Uno Hamato is more slow and calculated, using his Cane of the Stormbringer to deliver precise, Electro-infused attacks. His attacks are relatively straightforward but can quickly overwhelm unprepared players due to their speed and AoE damage potential. Throughout this phase, staying mobile is key, as Hamato's cane strikes and Electro abilities demand quick reactions and well-timed evasion. The addition of his Electro Shield at 50% HP introduces a layer of strategy where players must switch to elemental counters or face devastating repercussions.
- Uno Hamato’s attacks cover a lot of ground, making dodging crucial. Most of his abilities can be avoided by sprinting or dashing at the right moment.
- Several of his attacks, especially Stormstrike Smash, are deadlier up close. Avoid getting caught near the epicenter of his AoE attacks.
- Once his Electro Shield appears at 50% HP, switch to Pyro, Cryo, or Geo elements to break it efficiently. If using the wrong elements, be mindful of the lightning retaliation after three strikes.
Phase 2[]
In Phase 2, Uno Hamato becomes much more aggressive and dangerous, utilizing his Hand ob Sander Eclipse, a mechanical arm infused with Electro energy. His attacks become faster, deadlier, and more varied, with a mixture of melee slashes, dashing strikes, and AoE abilities. He also gains the ability to manipulate gravity and drain players' elemental energy and health. To succeed in this phase, players must anticipate his high-speed dashes, avoid his crowd-control abilities, and disrupt his shields and health siphons using the proper elements, especially Pyro.
- Uno Hamato’s attacks have a strong melee focus in Phase 2, so keeping distance while dodging his dashes and slashes will minimize the damage taken.
- Be mindful of his Lift and Pull and Lift and Throw abilities. While you can't escape Lift and Pull, you can dash to avoid the follow-up Hand Slash.
- His Electro Shield returns from Phase 1, making Pyro, Cryo, and Geo elements essential to break through it.
- Prioritize using bow characters for quick reactions to shoot the source of his Elemental Energy Drain and Revenant Health Siphon abilities.
Recommended Characters[]
Pyro characters like Hu Tao, Diluc, Bennett, and Yoimiya may be very usefull.
- Yoimiya’s Pyro element is highly effective for breaking Uno Hamato’s Electro Shield and disrupting his Elemental Energy Drain and Revenant Health Siphon. Her quick, single-target DPS from her Normal Attacks can keep the pressure on Uno Hamato, especially when paired with a good support character. As a bow user, she can quickly hit distant sources during his siphon and shield phases.
- Bennett’s Elemental Burst not only provides healing but also increases ATK, making him an excellent support for breaking Hamato’s shields and maintaining high DPS output. His Pyro element is key for breaking Hamato’s Electro Shield.
- Diluc’s consistent Pyro application through his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst can make short work of Uno Hamato’s shields, and his Claymore attacks can deal massive damage over time. His Elemental Burst provides AoE Pyro damage, which is excellent for applying pressure.
- Hu Tao’s Pyro abilities and high burst damage make her an excellent choice for quickly breaking Hamato’s shields and dealing massive damage. Hu Tao’s Elemental Skill increases her ATK significantly, and her Elemental Burst can deal a huge amount of Pyro damage.
Geo characters like Zhongli may be useful.
- Zhongli’s Geo element allows him to break Uno Hamato’s shield efficiently, and his shield provides excellent protection against Hamato’s AoE and Electro damage. His Elemental Burst also petrifies enemies, giving you a window to deal damage.
Hydro characters like Xingqiu may be useful.
- Xingqiu’s Hydro application through his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst can enable vaporizing reactions when paired with Pyro characters, maximizing damage. His healing through his rain swords can also help sustain the team.

Boss Description[]
This is the form taken by the man who once made a promise to the former Electro Archon, a promise he still upholds centuries after death. As the resurrected second-in-command of Inazuma's political affairs, Uno Hamato serves the Raiden Shogun with unwavering loyalty and stoic determination. Stripped of most emotions and memories from his previous life, Hamato has become a revenant, bound only by his duty and his loyalty to the Electro Archon, Raiden Ei.
No personal attachments or idle thoughts disturb his focus. Nothing will change.
"Her divine will granted me a second life, and my every action is now devoted to preserving her Eternity. I serve because I must, without question, without hesitation. I am the hand that strikes at her command. The only thing I remember is her."
"My duty is absolute. The promise I made to her, and the life granted to me by my master, are bound to one eternal purpose. I shall not falter, nor question. For in serving her, I fulfill the only purpose I have left."
"This is my purpose. My promise to her remains unbroken. All that I am, I offer to Eternity."
